Update for the Community – Islamic School of Brantford

We had planned to begin admissions this summer and anticipated our building permit by mid-June, as only minor renovations were required. However, during the permitting process, our property was placed under a Water Source Protection review, which has caused an unexpected and significant delay. Despite our best efforts, this has prevented us from moving forward with the original timeline.

Our Plan Moving Forward

• Evening & Weekend Classes (Early 2026): In collaboration with the local masjid, we will offer Islamic studies classes during evenings and weekends once the facility is ready. Families on our waitlist will have priority enrollment.
• Open House (Early 2026, Insha’Allah): At the start of 2026, once permits are finalized and renovations are complete, we will host an Open House so parents can tour the facility, meet the team, and view the classrooms.
• Full-Time School (2026): We plan to begin with a Summer Camp and then launch the full academic program in September 2026, Insha’Allah.

Our Commitment

We want your children to learn in a safe, fully prepared, high-quality environment. For that reason, we will not rush the process or compromise on standards. Families currently on the waitlist will retain priority for admission as we move forward. We deeply appreciate your patience, support, and duas.
