Learning Journey

Programs designed for each stage of growth

Our core programs are designed to help students build strong academic foundations while growing in Islamic identity, confidence, and character.

The journey starts in Junior Kindergarten at age 4, continues through Senior Kindergarten, and grows into Grades 1–5, all following the full Ontario curriculum through Islamic values.

Our approach to learning

Where faith, academic excellence, and future-ready skills meet

At Islamic School of Brantford, our programs go beyond the Ontario Ministry of Education standards by thoughtfully integrating best practices from leading global education systems. Students experience deeper learning and stronger critical thinking in literacy, numeracy, and science, while Islamic studies, Quran, and Arabic nurture both intellectual growth and spiritual development — developing confident, curious learners grounded in their values.

Globally inspired curriculum

We follow the full Ontario curriculum and enrich it with proven global best practices for deeper learning.

Technology from Junior Kindergarten

Students build age-appropriate digital skills and responsible technology habits from their very first year.

Coding begins in Grade 4

Structured coding develops computational thinking, logic, and creative problem-solving for a future-ready mindset.

Inquiry & critical thinking

Inquiry-based learning encourages curiosity, reasoning, and meaningful real-world connections in every subject.

Small classes, personalized learning

Dedicated educators and small class sizes mean every child receives attention tailored to how they learn best.

Strong Islamic identity & character

Daily prayer, Quran, and intentional character education nurture integrity, compassion, and responsibility.

Technology & innovation

Technology is part of how our students think and learn

We believe students should not only use technology, but understand and create with it. Digital skills grow steadily from the earliest years into structured coding in the junior grades.

Junior & Senior Kindergarten

Early exposure

Students are introduced to computers, hardware, and digital tools in a structured, age-appropriate way, building familiarity and responsible technology habits from the start.

Grades 1–3

Digital fluency

Students grow confident using technology for research, creativity, and presentations, developing digital literacy and independence as supportive tools for learning.

Grades 4–5

Coding & problem-solving

Students begin our structured coding program, developing computational thinking, logical reasoning, and innovation skills that lay the foundation for future STEM pathways.

A journey of growth

Each stage is designed with purpose

From the early years to upper elementary, students move from exploration to leadership — building, strengthening, and applying their skills while growing in faith and character.
